• You will surely need a legitimate driver’s license to be able to rent a car. If you still do not have a license, the company will not rent you the car.
• Some companies will also ask about your credit card if you want to make a reservation. However, you can also use your cash as payment for the rental if that is what you like.
• Person auto insurance is not really a requirement when renting a car, so you don’t have to worry if you do not have one. However, the car rental company will ask if you would like to get their insurance which will be valid on the period stated on the rental contract. But if you already have an insurance policy, ensure that you immediately call your agent to know if the use of rented car is under your insurance coverage. If it is, then you do not need to get insurance from the car rental company.
• Call more car rental companies to know about their rate, special and car availability. Most car rental companies give their renters a special deal in particular to those members of any organization such as warehouse clubs, credit unions and others.
• After calling, decide for potential car Rental Company that is suitable for you. Make sure that you bring along with you all the papers needed in renting the car.
